That's pretty much it...J is stable at the moment. I told her doc to get a referral to a GI at UCSF and have contacted Health Net. Further news as events warrant.

Hey Paul, it's Nicole, here. Really, really glad I ran into you at the hospital Xmas Eve. I'll be able to drive in a couple weeks here, and will still be on maternity leave, and I was hoping I could come see Jen. Let me know if there's a good/bad time, or if she's even feeling up to it? I don't want to intrude, but would love to stop in and give her some love.

What does it take to actually transfer her to UCSF? (Sorry if you addressed this earlier in your posts.) Or does she get a consult first before transfering?

Jessica, apparently it takes a lot to get her transfered, more than I'm willing to type here that's for sure! I'm so damn sick of this country's appalling lack of any kind of social responsibility...all of the disability benefits and health care stuff is set up to make you fail.
