Links that caught my eye

OK, one of the best videos I've EVER seen here, featuring the "Keepon" dancing robot seen below...

OK, I need at least 10 of these.

DOOMSDAY FEARS SPARK LAWSUIT - The experiment I work with at the moment is being called the 'doomsday device, based on bad science of course and now is being sued!

Parents Pick Prayer Over Docs; Girl Dies - This just pisses me off.

God must be sniffing out that doomsday thing-a-ma-jig you got going there and determined there was no point answering the proverbial prayer 911.

Let me guess....the parents didn't need Doctors because modern science is evil....but they ALL have their own cell phones. Good thing science had nothing to do with creatin' them thar' cell phones....

I'm beginning to realize that the end of days IS approaching because of the number of people whose religious faith blinds them and they insist in a literal Bible....or the Koran for that matter. And because of that Doomsday machiny thing you're working on...

Okay, we're trapped in Sunriver with a foot of snow -- it's 8am and we need to pack to start the harrowing journey home over the Santiam Pass (which got over 8 inches of new snow yesterday)-- and instead, the entire family is sitting around mesmerized by the dancing robot -- I could watch him all day! Good luck with that Doomsday Device -- Conor's jealous -- He'd like THAT on his resume ... kak

EXACTLY.

A, tell Conor that by the time he's a post-doc he'll have an entirely new physics to figure out, so he will work with theis experiment or it's aftermath if he goes into high-energy physics. And then he can put it on his resume!

Good luck with that 'snow' thing...whatever that is. Does that fall under the 'weather' category that I keep hearing about down here?
