Update

Photo: Jack Frost is past simply 'nipping'.

J is suffering right now from a bout of nausea...

I'm worried about her hypertension, during dialysis yesterday her BP rose to 227/125. That's a critical range that puts her in immediate risk for strokes and heart attacks. They had to give her a cocktail of BP meds to reduce it down to around 160/80. This is a problem that has been getting worse over the past year...

Hypertension definition for the curious.

Christmas is coming, and so is Chaunnukah and other holidays...this is a good site to see what else is celebrated around the world at this time.

Bleh...

Sorry for the bad news over on your end there.

Ummmm, hate to break it to ya' dude, but Channukah is OVER already LOL. Oy.

That link was a fun read and I learned many new things. Like, for instance, I did not know that atheists are basically practicing paganism. And that Festivus is now official enough to have made the list (didn't that spring from sitcom tv??). Oh, and Krismas??!?! For real??? And my favorite, "Some Christians object to what they feel is a diluting of their traditions due to the impact of minority religions and cultures." ...which comes at the end of the article, after listing of all the other holidays that were celebrated far before the birth of YouKnowWho. Cracked me up.

Well, we're off to celebrate Krismas or something or another down at "The Happiest Place on Earth." While I'm there, I'll try to keep up on your blog, and I'll also work on "making a wish upon a star" for you guys. XO

Festivus is a creation of Kramer from Seinfeld. Happy Festivus for the rest of us!

My Jewish great-great grandmother would be verklempt that I didn't know that Chaunnukah has passed.

So you're going to the "Happiest Place on Earth". Tell me how it is. Just remember that the track suits and tennis shoes have to be clean before drinking the 'magic punch'.

Alan was captivated by the "Jack Frost" picture and wants to know more about it (enlarging the jpg did not provide any information). Quite frankly, as far as I'm concerned, the less information you have to share, the better -- I don't really want one of those in my house. Believe it or not (and Jennie certainly won't believe it), I've gotten into crafting cute little stuffed animals lately ("stuffies") - I've done an octopus, several owls, a scottie dog, and penguins. Jennie will be shocked that I've suddenly become crafty, but I'll bring some down at Christmas. See you both soon!
